Interior design is the art and science of enhancing the interior of a building to achieve a healthier and more aesthetically pleasing environment for the people using the space. An interior designer is someone who plans, researches, coordinates, and manages such enhancement projects. Interior design is a multifaceted profession that includes conceptual development, space planning, site inspections, programming, research, communicating with the stakeholders of a project, construction management, and execution of the design. Passionate with creativity, we would like to introduce ourselves as NIID (An Institute of Interior Designing). NIID is approved by IIDS (The North-east India Interior Design Society) evolved in Guwahati in the year 2011 owing to massive queries that stood forth us in terms of Interior Designing as a career option. Looking at the immense number of talent in the North-East Region, NIID vowed with commitment and responsibility showed its presence to explore talent out of young creative minds and give a new dimension to the designing industry. Initially we started our journey with interior designing course but gradually we extended our foot steps in the fashion industry too by introducing a diploma course in Fashion Designing. Our courses offers a balance between tradition art and design skills and state of the art computer technology. It has been develop to prepare students for numerous careers in interior design and fashion designing and related areas including residential and commercial design, fashion house and fashion shows.. It focuses on the areas where there are career opportunities.
